David Schwartz

David Russell Schwartz of Fort Worth, Texas passed away suddenly on September 3 rd , 2022. He

was born in Wilmington, Delaware on March 31 st , 1959. Dave (as he was known by family and

friends) graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Wilmington, DE in the spring of 1977

and went directly into the United States Air Force, where he dutifully served his country for the

next 35 years. After starting his career in the Air Force, he met his loving wife, Rhonda

Schwartz and they were married June 28 th , 1986. One of the greatest accomplishments of his

career was when he earned the title of Chief Master Sargent, an honor reserved for service

Dave was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, son and friend – and a man who shared a

passion for many hobbies. Dave participated in a travel softball team, a bowling league, and

was an avid golfer. He coached little league for his kids for many years and even worked as a

little league umpire. He was an avid sports fan – especially when it came to cheering for his

foodie, many of our favorite memories of Dave are while sharing a meal and doing something

fun.

While Dave kept active with his hobbies and sports, he loved nothing more than being with his

family. Dave is survived by his wife, Rhonda; three of his four children, Quentin (Alex Young),
